I have some original cupro-nickel, round nosed, pulled bullets that I'm wanting to reload with but I need advice on how to seat them with the conventional roll crimp. I say this because of how wide the cannelure is and if seating & crimping the normal way would make the OAL too high. So is it alright to crimp it normally or to make 3 little dents in the case neck to secure it like you see with surplus 6.5 Carcano? These are around .265-.266 and most are around 160 gr.
Reloading is a newly spawned hobby to me so forgive me if I may not understand something at first. Thanks
