6.5x55 Bob Jourdan Ackley Improved

I'm looking for any load data out there on a wildcat, 6.5x55 Bob Jourdan Ackley Improved. It evidently was developed during the 90's, perhaps published in Precision Shooting around 1993. I can find references and reprints, but no load data.

With my AIs, I start with a max load for the parent round from a good manual, then increase in appropriate increments --like, say 0.5 gr.-- until my chronograph shows that I've gained 100-150 fps over the book, or I start getting pressure signs. With an AI, you can often work with a slower powder to get better loading density...

That seemed like a logical approach, thanks for the confirmation. I was trying to get a headstart on what powders might give me an advantage.

I have one of these Bob Jourdan 6.5's that I had built on a Winchester Model 70 action after reading his article back in 93 or 94. I haven't used it in quite a while, but one of my boys took an interest and wants to do some loading for it. Looking back thru my records, all I really find is 54 grains of H450 pushing a 120 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip at about 3300+ fps and also 53 gr. of H414. Both were near max load. The groups were so good (quarter inch) I maybe never loaded anything else. However it was maybe a little fast for the ballistic tips as they would fragment on a deer's rib cage. I'd like to find a load for the Nosler partition. Was wondering what you might have come up with since you posted this over 4-1/2 years ago. Also wondering what twist barrel you used.
