Did anyone watch 60 minutes tonight? I did and saw a perfect example of what we have to look forward to in the fall.

The first 20 minute segment was an interview with Sen. Kerry. The time was equally divided between campaining for himself (I'm so wonderful, fluff), and bashing Bush on all the usual talking points.

The middle segment was a nice piece on the retirement of the ocean liner QE II.

The final 20 minute segment was a typical 60 Minutes investigative report on U.S. companies operating in a gray area which allows them to do business in "rogue states" such as Iran, Syria, Libya, etc. There were numerous people interviewed in the financial community, State treasurers, SEC types, pension fund managers, etc. While it was briefly mentioned that there are over 200 Fortune 500 companies operating under this gray area, the one used as an example at every single place they talked to someone?

You guessed it - Halliburton. :scrutiny:

Keep your eyes open folks. The next 10 months are going to get interesting.
