I have a new 642-2 and upon initial inspection I have noticed the the bore between the forcing cone and the lands and grooves seems to be a bit rough looking.
Now the bore from the lands and grooves to the muzzle look nice and shiny.
You have to use a bright flashligt from the muzzle end to see this. Otherwise you would miss it.
This pic doesn't really show that well but you can see what I am talking about.
Is this normal?
