Need help making a decision. I've been looking for a 243 win for long range varmit and antelope. I want a tack driver but not necessarily a benchrest gun. I have a choice between a NIB 700 LV SF for $750 (not listed on web as it was not offered the last year)

or a barley used 700 LSS for $600.

The LVSF is lighter, has a medium bull barrel, and a decent syn stock (for a factory stock) that's already pillar bedded. The bad is it has the blind magazine and is pricier.
The LSS is a good weight, better stock? (for bedding), and hinged floor plate. The downside is I've never owned a laminate stock and I'm not sure I would like it. Both rifles would slowly be upgraded as needed (glass bedding, float barrel, trigger)
So which is a better rifle/better deal? Owners please feel free to chime in.
