I am wanting to load a 75 grn AMax for a 1 in 8 twist 223 Tikka. Does anyone have any experience with this bullet in a 8 twist bolt gun? I'm thinking it's gonna push it to stabilize a bullet that long.

1:8 should be adequate. Miller stability factor is 1.24, 1 or higher being stable.

I've shot the 75gr BTHP out of my 1:9 Savage 12FV and Bushmaster M4 with great results. Don't know if that will help you or not.

The AMax is a good bit longer than the BTHP and has a better BC. It was designed with the slow fire stages of the National Match in mind where fitting in the magazine isn't required.
