7mm Rem Mag Lite

Anybody loading the 7mm Rem Mag down to 7x57 levels...and if you are whats your loads?

I would try using a published start charge of a fast burning powder, and maybe a light bullet, maybe a 120 gr..

It is a 7 mag though, so watch for low pressure issues, gases leaking past the neck, and primers leaking.

Hornady has great lower charge data for 7 rem mag I have used.

Hodgdon also has some reduced power loads on their site.

Most use H4895. It can be hard to come by of late. You can also use a 120gr bullet at the starting loads listed in most manuals.
