870 express capacity question

On the box of my 870 it says that the capacity is 5 shells, but I can only seem to fit 4?


Whats the deal?

It's probably referring to 4 in the magazine tube and 1 in the chamber. 'Normal' 870's are set up this way.

shotgun capacity is almost always listed with the +1 capacity included. so 5 means 4+1.

You can always ad an extended mag tube if you need more. Mine holds 6+1 with the add-on.
