942 from a 642

I remember seeing a picture of a 642 that someone had a 940 cylinder fitted in. Was that here or on S&W forum or TFL. How is it working if so???

I thought the 940 had a pin in the frame which prevented the fired brass cartridge from binding the cylinder because the 9mm is a tapered (slightly) cartridge. I dont think it would work that well (just my opinion) but the again.......what do I know??
