I searched and couldn't really find what I was looking for. I'm just curious to see what the Kahr 9mm is capable of at 7,15, and 25 yards. In particular the smaller Kahr like a CW9/PM9/P9/M9/MK9 or if not then either a T9 or TP9. I brought my CW9 to an indoor range today and I'm new to shooting so I knew I would be all over the place. I was able though to get some 5 and 6 shots groups that were 5/8" CTC at 7 yards, so I assume it is capable of repeating that if I practice with the gun more. I know I shouldn't expect that kind of grouping all the time as it is a small barrel carry gun but I wanted to know what the average should be. Or at least what I should work towards.
As I understand it some guns are just not capable of fantastic groups no matter who shoots it due to the limits of the gun. At 15 yards they opened up to as large as 5" CTC and I read people posting that they shoot 25 yard groups that are less than that. I guess I just want to know before I waste too much time trying to get unattainable groups that I have reached my gun's potential and should then move to gain more speed in shooting.
As a side note I fired 250 rounds through imy CW9 with zero problems using 4 different kinds of FMJ & HP. I brought my son along too and he helped me break it in. His first range shooting and my second and we had a blast. Good times.
