I have been picking up alot of 9mm brass at the range, its time to get a gun to go with it. I am looking for something that has a super sweet trigger, longest barrel possible. Something that resembles a competition gun. I have BIG powerful guns, its time for something that I can shoot fast, and is very accurate. Not looking at the 17L:what: that thing is fugly. I have looked at CZ's, berettas, what do you recommend? Thanks for your help, Lee.

Dude, you're going to get every fanboy between here and Kansas City, what with asking a question like that.

What do you shoot currently, in terms of BIG powerful guns?

What's your hand size?

There's no shortage of super 9mms out there these days. The easy, and high dollar, answer is to recommend either a Browning GP-Competition, a SIG P210, a Smiff 952 or a high-zoot 9mm 1911.

Best regards and good luck on your search!

Well

Whichever you like for whatever reason. Doesn't matter really.
CZs are great
Berettas are great
Glocks are great
CZ are the best really. I am just being nice.

Why did you single out those three guns. Glock 17L??? In theory, you should be able to figure out what you want on your own.

didnt single anything out, those are brands that I have looked at thats all. The one in your pic is awesome. I would love to have a sig x-6, too much $ for me.

I think

I think you can pick up one of the Elite Gold/Silver Team Witnesses for ~$1000, maybe a touch less.

If you're extremely budget conscious, a Witness Match may be what you're looking for.

CZ, get a SA trigger. Great feel to it. Steel frame makes recoil near nothing. More accurate than me.

I wanted a 17l for it's insanity. Huge glock is huge.

CZ 75 is a great choice. So are XD's Sigs and HK's. Depends on your budget and what fits your hand. Go fondle a few.

Check out a Browning Hi-Power. They are pretty good out of the box. Install a Cylinder and Slide trigger and sear kit and they become truely fantastic shooters. You can do the whole thing for less than $1000.00. There are newer models and brands of "9's" but the old P35 is hard to beat and is considered by most to be John Browning's best creation.

If you want a handmade CZ with accuracy better than you, perhaps you should try a Sphinx?

Somewhere in between the CZ manufactured pistols and the Sphinx is the Armalite AR 24.
