I need to stay away from the gun store...

My LGS just helped out in an estate and bought a collection. Amongst the goodies were 7 unfired Colt Woodsman pistols of various years, still in box, and an unfired .45 Colt Anaconda with a 6" barrel ($3500).

I need to sell a kidney...

The two .44 Mag Anacondas from the estate already sold...the .45 Colt is more expensive since so few were made. Will Colt make them in .45 Colt now? Time will tell.

I bet they will. And it will be a better gun for shooters than old one

Nothing wrong "the 90's Anacondas"! Newer guns are made using CNC machines and stronger materials, so they are just generally better:

"The new Anaconda closely resembles its predecessor but features a couple of significant improvements. The 2021 Anaconda is constructed with new materials and processes thanks to advances in manufacturing techniques and metallurgy since Colt halted production of the revolver nearly three decades ago...

...My first impressions of the new Anaconda were very positive. The fit and finish were outstanding. The way the crane locks into the frame, for example, is incredibly precise and tight. And when it locks in, it looks like that portion of the revolver is made of one piece steel rather than two. The fit is just perfect."

I am not in Colts, ridiculously high prices kept me from them, but when new productions started, I might consider one. That's the reason I went with S&W revolvers, but sticking to those -3 and up. Well, excluding late ones with MIM parts:

Clements Custom Guns; Smith & Wesson Revolvers: I cannot do action work on newer guns with MIM parts. If the back of the trigger has cavities cast in it, then the gun is a MIM gun and not suitable.

Hope Colt wouldn't make same mistake S&W did.

So how were those priced? Seven? I can't even find one that hasn't been abused up here, much less one that's not been fired... Sheesh!

Depends on year, and they cover a lot of territory. Most expensive was $7500 and least expensive was north of $2000.

The older 45 Colt Anacondas had cylinder throats over sized. Good looking gun but not as accurate as a Ruger, as one example.

Hopefully Colt makes them again in 45 and they fix their error.

Oh, nuts!
Recently got a Smith 25-15 Classic in .45 Colt, and it is great. I feed it Cowboy level reloads, and it is a ball to shoot.
An Anaconda in .45 Colt would be fun.
