This may have been posted before but I did a quick search and didn't find it. With all the 1911 craze these days I thought it would be fun to re-visit the topic anyway. What a great bit of history to look at!! This is the 1940 cavalry field manual for the 1911A1. It contains some really great stuff including exercises, old photos, etc. I just read it cover to cover and have a big ol' grin on my face.
Although it concentrates mainly on the 1911 I think EVERY new (or heck, old) shooter should read it. Lots of great stuff. Enjoy!!
