I had a chance to pick up a like new in box and paper Model 14 K-38 and a Model 17 K-22. Both have diamond coke bottle grips and TT &TH. The widow wanted $500 but I gave her $600. I already have a nice K-22 and and a Combat Masterpiece, BUT these guns are BOTH 1958 guns and are like new!
There goes the gas mney for my October Vacation! :uhoh:
The widow insisted I register them so I am waiting 10 days to show pictures. You know 75% of my revolver shooting is with .38's or .22s ;)

Gordon - I too would have fallen for that sorta deal. I have little doubt you are a proud new owner! :)

I purchased from a member here a pre K-22 - circa 1950 IIRC, a five screw.. It is not toally perfect but is still a fine piece - and I am proud to have given it a home. Not sure what happened to original grips but it is still pretty nice as it is.

Pics of yours would be nice!??

Your stocks are Diamond Targets not Cokes. Cokes were only put on N-frames and specifically the M29 and the M57.
A great deal for 2 vintage K-frames.

There is a K-22 in a nearby shop that is eay overpriced, but still calls my name. I am looking for a .22 revolver for hunting, and used to own a beautiful K-38, so the K-22 seems just what I need.

Anybody hunt with these guns?

Thanks.
