ha ha! i'm a member of a pilot's forum similar to this and i posted this pic for a guy that is gay and told him it was just the gun for him. (all in good fun of course). even he said it was gawdy and tacky. not really sure what they're Sig is trying to accomplish with this fugly thing.

It reminds me of uneven heat-treating. That's the "rainbow effect" that shiny new steel gets when you heat it with an oxy/acetylene torch before it starts glowing orange/red.
