A wish for the rebirth of classic pocket revolvers

Tacital I haven't heard of that one. But a Bearcat in 32 long would make me happy.

I am sure a small revolver would and like mentioned most likely to non gun enthusiest. I inherited an RG 22 revolver that belonged to my grandmother. It is one of the tiny little 22s. I think its junk but a distant reletive saw it and she fell in love with it. She has it now, apparently on permanent loan. I just hope she doesn't carry the little POS around with her but I suspect that she does.

But to its credit it has never misfired with me and is suprisingly accurate but very hard to shoot. And the bullets even land point forward. A first for RG guns.

My smallish guns are a beretta 25acp, iver jounson TP-22 and S&W 431PD in 32 mag. I do need to get another Kel-Tec 32acp.

If there was a quality 32 caliber revolver made I would probably buy one. But I much prefer the 32 long over the 32 acp round.

Here you go. Probably a little spendy, and it would be preferable to me if it was a little longer and had an ejector rod.

Kind of a moot point for me living here though in that caliber and that barrel length. Ticks me off!

But I believe such a gun would appeal to quite a few shooters, if Ruger made them from the factory like that, and with an ejector. Really dig the octagon barrel.

I think the custom Bearcat that was done in .327 Mag was pretty cool. It's got the looks, power and the all important "magnum" designation to sell guns today.

I think Ruger should start making them.
I've seen those and IIRC the frames had to be machined to fit the .327 rounds which makes them a very expensive custom job.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ruger make them a production gun, but they seem hell bent on keeping the Bearcat a .22 only revolver.

I'd be happy with some company making cheap .32 s&w ammo to feed my old top breaks.

There is the Taurus M380 mini-revolver in .380.
I don't think he wants a bore of that size. This seems typical. Someone wants a given configuration, and everyone presses their desires upon everyone else by telling them what they think they should use or carry.

It's also pretty typical for people to not thoroughly read the original post.

"Step up the size of your 22 mini revolver platform a bit and chamber it for a marginal caliber like 32 acp or 380acp."

Taurus did the opposite, they scaled down their Model 85 in .38 Special to a shorter frame and chambered it for .380. I think it gets closer than anything else (that's available today) to meeting his criteria.
