could not find any data on either powder for the 300 blackout. I have about 1/4 lb left of the 2230 and a full lb of the 2520. has anyone use them and success? if i could i would like to use what i have before i go out looking for powder again. i'm reloading once fired lake city brass i'm cutting down with 125 gr nolser ballistic green tip.

i see that seems to be a popular powder along with the 125 gr nolser bt

I've used A2520 in .308 Winchester, it's about equivalent to IMR 4064 in that cartridge. Way too slow for your light bullets in the Blackout. I'd second the suggestion for 1680, it was made specifically for the 7.62x39.

AA2230 and AA2520 are bit slow for 300 BLK. Hence no data.

H110, W296, AA1680, Lil Gun, 2400, and other similar powders are the best for 300 BLK.

I like H110/W296 for 110 to 125 grain bullets and AA1680 for 150-160 grain bullets. I have tried a little 2400 with the light bullets and it worked well as well.

H110/W296 gives me better velocities with 110 to 125 grain bullets than AA1680.

I think I used AA1680 for subsonic test loads, but it is been too long and I am not interested in subsonic at the present.
