On a compressed load; Do you find that the bullet will push out of the case with the force of the compressed powder? You might see it in a few hours or the next day. I'm not sure but a theory of mine. I was loading .222 with WIN 748. I think they are growing somehow.

Bullet creep is possible with very compressed loads.

Use a black Sharpie pen and mark around the bullet / case neck joint when you load them.
Then check back later for growth.

Sounds like maybe you need a little faster powder and less of it.

They can, depending on neck tension. Could result in a high pressure situation if loading close to the lands.

I know that a lot of people do it but like rcmodel, I would find a faster powder that only fills the case 95%.

748 was in the book and thought I'd try it. I'll smash them back down again and if it doesn't work I'll go to 335.

IMR 4064 in .308 is similar also, the bullet packs a full charge down, but the stuff gives great velocity and accuracy, not going to switch.
