I bought a Colt 1911 45 ACP NM Gold Cup in March, 2017. It came with full power and target recoil springs as well as an 8 round and 7 round magazine.
This pistol was re-barreled with a Bar-Sto 38-45 Clerke barrel. This pistol was purchased before CZ took over Colt.
I decided that I wanted to have a 45 ACP Gold Cup NM but I've been on the waiting list since 2017.
Finally, October, 2022, I found another Gold Cup, NM 45 ACP pistol. This was after the CZ take over of Colt. The new pistol only came with one 8 round magazine and a recoil spring for full power 45 ACP RN ammunition.
It was a bit disappointing that CZ (I assume) has reduced the accessories that came with the Gold Cup NM.
It is not really a big deal as it it easy to obtain target ammunition level recoil springs but it is too bad that CZ has reduced the extra accessories delivered with a 45 ACP Gold Cup NM
to save a few pennies on their bottom line.
As an aside, I am not a fan of the 8n round magazines in my 1911's. The 8 rounder I got with the 2017 pistol well as the 8 rounder I got with then new, 2022 pistol will stay with the pistol case that the pistol was delivered with.
Besides the 45 ACP NM and the 38/45 Clerks NM Gold Cup 1911', I have Gold Cup 1911's in 38 Super and 9x19
