I just picked up a Mossberg 500A with 20 inch barrel, 7+1 shell capacity and a composite stock.

Now that I have it I'd like to add a heatshield, 6 shell side saddle and a tactical flashlight that will mount to the mag extension.

I don't have the money for a surefire or other high end flashlight so I'm looking for something that will work, be sturdy and will not cost me an arm and a leg to get.

I'm looking for a decent site to pick these items up. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Can't give too much advice on cheap lights, however, I can recommend a side saddle.

First, you need to consult someone with a 500 and a 6-shot saddle because I know with the 870, a 6-shot saddle will not fit while using the factory foregrip. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the Mossberg.

Now, as to what I was saying, just get yourself a TacStar saddle. Yeah, Scattergun Technologies (Wilson Combat) makes a saddle, but guess what -- it has TacStar stamped on it. I already made that mistake.

I believe TacStar will also be your choice for a cheap weapon light as well. Check out their site and see what you can find, then order from www.brownells.com.

Here's my baby. No heat shield due to the fact I can see why I'd need one. (Not that I "need" any of that crap on there...)
