Looking for a accurate and solid 180 gr bullet that will hold together for hunting with my .300 WSM. Looking at the either the Nosler Accubond or Hornady Interbond. I want controlled expansion, not a rapid dump of energy resulting in case/core seperation I've been experiencing with my Sierra Game Kings.

I use the 165 gr Interbond in my 300 WSM, and a hunting buddy uses the 165 gr
Accubond in his. We have both had great success with accuracy, and more drop on the spot shots as the bullets work perfectly. Use whichever one is the most accurate in your rifle as you won't be disappointed in either one.

They are both good bullets for big game hunting on everything I've read on them. They both are a step up from traditional cup and core bullets hunting bullets IMO.

You may want to buy a box of each and see if your rifle shoots one or the other better. I tested both in a few 30 cal rifles. I was getting better accuracy with the Nosler Accubond so I ended up going with them. But the results in your rifle may be different than mine.

I'm absolutely overwelmed at participation in this thread...:scrutiny:

Seriously guys (Runningman/Hoghunting) thanks for info. Exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go participate ion the 4th "Neck v FL Resizing' thread this month.:barf:

I was hoping for more info too as I'm going to be shooting one of those bullets at elk this year (hopefully). But from what I can tell, the consensus is that they are both good bullets, pick a good load and it'll do the job.
