I was looking at the Acculab scale in the summer sinclair catalog and am sort of interested in it. While I know that 0.2 grns does not matter that much for powder, it looks like a neat tool for just fun. I normally use a digital chargemaster and this looks like a nice upgrade for having fun. The only thing I see is that I will have to build a separate bench for it because I don't think it will like being on the bench with my press because of too much vibration.

Any opinions, experience or comments on the scale?

Thanks

Peter, I have had the acculab for about a year now. Great scale: accurate, stable, sensitive, repeatable. Highly recommend it.

I designed my own wind screen, with a funnel on top, and a window to slide a powder measure in and out of. It is sensitive to the AC blowing on it!

I throw and weigh/trickle all charges. It has a % function that is sweet: just trickle up til it says 100% (or 100.0 or 100.00). You don't have to remember all those confusing numbers!?!

PM coming your way.

Dave
