April 10th will be the first seasons shoot at Holton Gun Club.
These shoots are put on by Holton Gun club (MBRSA Club) and Rock Creek Firearms training.
Shoot starts at 9am and goes till noon with a break for lunch, hot food will be available at the club kitchen for a fee. Then shooting resumes at 1 and goes till 5pm.
Course fees are $10 per match and $5 for each additional match.
What:
You will be shooting a variety of targets and situations including steel targets, paper targets, reactive targets, moving targets, shooting from cover, shoot/no shoot situations, reloading, shooting from varied positions and or moving, and shooting with handicaps (weak side only, one handed etc..).
You can shoot for your own best time or compete agianst a friend. There will be a special side match and a chance at a 50/50 prize.
All safety rules WILL be enforced!
What you need:
Any centerfire handgun of a non-magnum caliber, safety glasses, hearing protection, we recommend at least 3 magazines, or speedloaders, a holster that places the muzzle in a vertical position, and 50 rounds of ammo per match.
