I have a Beretta 92 FS. I like it-it is a good gun, BUT I always thought it was a big ole honking gun for a 9mm.
Well, I ordered (from CDNN) a second upper for it (appx $150 + shipping). It is a carbon steel 96G Centurion upper with night sights and a 96 hi cap mag to go with it. It slid right on my frame and now I have a little shorter gun in .40 S&W AS WELL AS A 9mm!!
Shot it yesterday. It is 100% reliable and is, I believe, at least equal in accuracy to the 9mm and maybe more so. The outdoor range I shot at was in the midst of a weather change for the worse and had howling winds.
Anyway, I'm pleased with it and it is something some of you may want to consider.
