I had a gunsmith install scope bases on 3 military rifles of mine. None are aligned top dead center. When I bore sighted at 25 yards on the range, I was off a good 2-3 feet. Which scope rings would give me the most adjustment? Are here others than Millet? If so, which ones have the most adjustment.

The Burris Signature rings have an offset insert kit that lets you adjust point of aim for the scope. But if you are off 2 - 3 feet at 25 yards, I don't think any set of rings will give you that much adjustment.

before you do anything else... get a new gunsmith... seems like your biggest problem...

At this point, shimming the bases is probably your best bet.

Shim the right side of one base, and the left side of the other one, depending on which way you need to move the scope.
You can gain a lot of windage change with shims.

If you have a one-piece base you are SOL.

step one find a new gunsmith.

OK now that that is out of the way, you might be able to get enough adjustment between the scope and a set of the old Leopold adjustable bases that were made for scopes that had no adjustments ans can often be found in the lose parts bins in many shops, finding one to match the receiver and holes is probably not going to happen you never no you might get lucky, but given what you said I'm gonna wager this will not be enough, perhaps with shims and said bases you might get enough, but you have to ask yourself if you want a Jerry rigged gun, i would advise to find a better gunsmith and have him do the job properly.

oh I'm going to go beat my head into a wall for a good half hour after this

I decided to do a little checking ot see if anyone still made the adjustment bases when i realized the leupold standard bases have two screws on the rear base, grab a pair and adjust in the direction you need, you might just get it!
