Adjusting the sights on a Star BM

hey guys!

Took my new Star BM and Makarov to the range this weekend and put 100 rds through each.

No failures, both are great little guns...

Thing is, the BM was consistently shooting 2-3" left of POA at 7 yds.

The front sight is fixed, but the rear seems to be in a channel so that it can be moved back and forth...

How does one move it, and which direction / how far should I be drifting it?

Funny that you should mention that about the Star. I have a BKM that I inherited from my father, and it impacts about the same as yours. I compensated by ever-so-slightly shifting my grip, and now I find it is close to dead-on, but nowhere near as 'on' as my CZ75B.
