I recently received this scope with a pistol I purchased, I would like to try and use it, but it came with no manual or instructions, and there are no batteries in the scope. So I have no idea what kind of batteries to buy. I tried google, but came up with nothing.

So I was wondering does any one here have any idea what kind of batteries this scope takes, or any idea where I might find a manual for it?

Thanks, Mike

Heres a pic of the scope in case it helps.

Aimpoint® Sights Model
Mk III, 2000, MPS, MPS II
and Laserdot LSR-2

Battery
123 or DL 123A (Duracell),
BR2/3A (Panasonic)
CR 123A (Varta),
Ø16.9x34.5 mm, 1pc, 3V, Lithium

PC1A 2 pcs, 1.5-volt each, Alkaline (See note above)

that is the only listing for a MK III on the up side that is a pretty common battery used in alot of cameras and tac lights.

Those little batteries are all the same voltage, all that varies is diameter and thickness. Try the 123 -- if it fits, it's the correct battery. If not -- just find the one that fits physically and it'll work.

Went and bought some Duracell 123's this afternoon, got the sight working. Thank you for the help, Mike
