Looking for someone in south eastern Michigan that deals in air guns. Now that Precision Air Gun and Supplies is gone the wife has decided she wants one. Not big into air guns,so, don’t really know of any one else. The internet hasn’t been much help.

Even though I am not big into air guns I can see how you could get addicted easily. My Benjamin Marauder has been great fun and is a death ray on chipmunks and red squirrels. Will do on coons if the shot is right.

Not sure anymore. In the past, I had done some business with Precision Airguns and Supplies in Dryden, MI, but their FaceBook page says the husband/wife owners retired and closed the business a couple of months ago. I will keep an eye on this thread to see if any other Michiganians can recommend a place.

I’m from Michigan but have never seen a gun shop dedicated to airguns . A good many shops have a few rifles/pistols on hand but not a great selection and generally lower end. I would research here as well as the dedicated air gun sites then possibly buy from one of the fine vendors you will find online that deal in top of the line manufacturers and also carry a wide range of choices.

Problem with buying on line is you that you really don’t know what you’re getting. It is hard to judge if something fits good from a picture. Precision air guns was an awesome shop. That’s all they did there. You could try different things out. Not expecting quite that level of service.

There are a couple of dedicated shops in Ohio.

What type of gun are you looking for I can give you suggestions.

looking for a pcp that is on the lighter side. Maybe an Air Arms. Wife shoots my Marauder well, but, it is on the heavy side.

Stringnut, I totally get that. I much prefer to fondle before purchasing as well. I bought an HW 30 based on the rave reviews and it was as accurate as everyone said it was but stock fit was terrible for me as far as using the iron sights were concerned, which is my preference. I’m sure it would be fine with a scope.
