ak vs sks decision

Thanks for all of your inputs concerning my conundrum between ak and sks. I have finally come to a decision. My next purchase will be a Norinco sks. Thanks again for your thoughts.
I looked at and held side by side an ak and a sks. I cycled the actions and just eyeballed them for asthetic purposes and the sks came out on top. The ak, to me, is one ugly mutt. The price was also a big factor. Why pay 3 times as much for the ak, with its cheap stamped receiver and stamped mags, when the sks is a full stock and feels more like a shooter's rfle. Thanks again for the input, and let the barrage begin from those that own/like aks.

Enjoy your SKS. Funny thing about those rifles, though, is that you're very liable to wind up with another one before too long.

Then you shoot a bunch of 7.62x39 and get comfortable with it. That's when I decided to go ahead and get an AK, too.

In the end, so far, I've now wound up doing most of my 7.62 shooting with an AR. And ultimately I do prefer the SKS over the AK. It just feels better to shoot, and it is more accurate.
