AK-WASR2 HELP

The bolt carrier is not cycling? CORRECT Is your gas port present and open? YES Is the carrier moving rearward at all? NO
I HAVE CLEANED THE PORT AND HAVE DRILLED IT OUT A LITTLE. I CAN GET FLUID TO PASS THROUGH AND OUT THE BARREL BUT NOT LIGHT? THE CARRIER IS NO MOVING REARWARD.

COULD IT BE THE PISTON....THE ONE THAT IS ON MY RIFLE ONLY HAS TWO SLOTS. DO I NEED TO UPGRADE TO THE USA MADE PISTON?

ANY OTHER THOUGHTS???? HELP!

The piston should NOT be immovable on the bolt carrier. If you remove the carrier the piston should have a little wiggle to it. If it is bound up that MAY be your problem.
The piston is screwed to the carrier, then a pin is put in to keep it from backing off.
