If you have kids and they don't seem to be interested in shooting or hunting, don't fret. I hunted a few times with my dad when I was younger, then I started chasing skirts. I didn't even think about hunting again until I was in my early twenties. My dad had planted a hunting bug in me that lay dorment for alittle while. All I can say is show them how it's done. Let em quit if they like, but if it's done right "they will be back". My oldest stopped hunting for awhile, until his hormones setteled down abit. Guess what he's back. We have been hunting together for a few years now. It's been awesome.
Deer, turkeys, we chase it all.

I kinda worried about my 9 year old son Caleb. Caleb has had a fair amount of health issues in his life after being born 2 months premature. He used to not have any interest in guns, bows, hunting anything outdoors. Now my little man is one of the biggest trigger hogs around. I have already laid eyes on a couple dandy bucks for him. Caleb asks almost everyday if its time to go hunting yet. Little money even hit 4 out of 6 4" clay pigeons with a .243 that I had propped up in a field in front of his ladder stand with shooting rail. Targets were from 50 to 200 yards. -2bda002.jpg
