After stopping in my Sportsmans Wharehouse a couple of times and noticing the Remington XR-100 (available in .204, 22-250, and .223) I have decided to save up some money and buy one in the future - estimate about a month.
The problem is that I am not sure of which caliber to get it in. I'm sure I won't get it in .204 though. Right now I am leaning towards the 22-250 due to the fact that I will eventually own a .223 and I want to diversify the cartridges.
One quality that I hate about the .223 XR is the twist rate. Its got an extremely slow twist at 1 in 12", and I was hoping to shoot heavier bullets. The 22-250 XR has a 1 in 14" which is closer to being on par with everyone else.
If I buy this rifle, it is more than likely that I will start reloading. If you reload for this gun or for the 22-250 cartridge in general, please tell what grains and what loadings you use.
