I scrolled through the Altamont website a few minutes ago and fell in love with the Altai style grips. I'm not sure, but they look a lot like the grip on the Performance Center model 60 which is probably the prettiest gun they have recently built. Anybody running the Altai grips? I have a set ordered in "Super Walnut" with laser engraved S&W logos (j frame). I probably won't get them until my birthday rolls around if they are even here by then. I wish they had pictures of the grips on multiple guns, it's hard to tell what they will look like when moving from blued to stainless to matte and from standard j frame to shrouded hammer to hammerless. These will be on my beautiful 30-1 blued 3". I will post pics when I get them on the gun.
