Hey y'all, this past December I snagged a great deal on an Egyptian Rasheed. These guns are chambered for 7.62x39 so ammo is cheap and plenty, but they only have a 10 round mag and while you can technically feed it with SKS clips they don't work very well. Also if you were to want to get more factory mags you'd be spending $100 apiece... Determined to find a way to have standard cap mags for this gun, I attempted modifying a standard AK pmag yesterday. I was able to acheive the proper width of the mag but the curvature was too much for the fairly straight mag well on the Rasheed. Does anyone know of any 7.62x39 mags that my be workable for this purpose? Thanks, and stay healthy out there!
