I have this sealed tin of surplus ammo that I think is for the VZ-52 rifle but I am not positive. This is the best picture I could get of the printing. Unless I am wrong it looks like 1260 rounds of 7.62x45, can says made in China in black paint. Any info on this ammo will help me label it properly to sell, I no longer have the rifle.

I'm no expert but I don't think the Chinese ever manufactured 7.62x45 ammo. I would wager that it is 7.62x39, and most likely corrosive.

I got it identified it is 7.62x25 Tokarev ammo. Now to get it sold, I know I could sell it on gunbroker but I am not sure about the cost of shipping it through UPS to whoever the buyer is.

Its been a couple years since I've shipped much ammo, but unless things have changed, shipping costs are the same as regular freight.

There are labeling requirements and it has to be picked up by a truck or taken to a shipping center, it can't be dropped off at the little UPS stores.

If you sell it on GB just put something in the ad about the buyer paying shipping costs. There's no way of estimating UPS shipping costs unless you know where it's going.

I have three tins like that, but mine are 7.62x54R. A good bit of 7.62 NATO was imported from China in the 80s and early 90s. Most of it was copper washed and corrosive.
