Ammo in a gun safe?

I keep my ammo around the house. I don't have enough room in the safe for all of my ammo. If the place is burning and you are inside, ammo may not be your biggest issue at hand. When ammo goes off in a fire, it is less lethal than when fired in a gun. It could still hurt or kill you though, just no guarantee.
