Just got a Casio G'z One Commando and it's my first shot at the smart phones. What are some good shooting, hunting, outdoor apps that some of you have tried and like? How about some to stay away from?
Also it seems the phone style is fairly new and I don't see many accessories like cases, and screen savers for this specific model, how about the rest of you, anybody have this phone?

I have SHOOTER by Sean Kennedy, and it's phenomenal. In terms of a ballistic program, it is incredibly simple, full of information and loads, and is incredibly accurate. I highly recommend that you get it if you do any long range shooting.

Also, look into Angry Birds. :D

I'll third Shooter.

Well worth the $10.

Keep in mind, it has a mil/moa calculator built into it so that you don't need a separate app.

I have seen a shot timer app as well, anybody tried that?

yah i tried it, not very good. way too sensitive, it pickes up echos, nevermind other shooters

i had shooter retical ranger (mildot master after the publisher realized its a copyrighted name) and a few other apps for outside like compass level and starmap

there are a ton of cool toys on the android market pretty much if you can think it up it already exists in some fashion

even an app for forums like this one

I haven't found a smartphone shot timer that works worth a darn. Ended up getting a CE Pocket Pro for that task.
Shooter sounds great but I haven't tried it yet. There is a free app called "ballistics calculator" you might want to try out.
Also, look into Angry Birds.
If you like that game make sure to check out Stupid Zombies :)

ballistics calc is ok but not as in depth as shooter
you can get a free version called shooter lite as well that doesnt have all the features unlocked but still a very capable tool

(also zombie run is a fun real world interactive game)
