Friend of mine in his mid 70's has this old Iver Johnson revolver in 22 Mag. . Works when fired double action but the hammer won't stay cocked to shoot single action. Something must be worn inside and we're mainly interested in parts availability or else most gunsmiths won't want to mess with it. There's no model name or number anywhere on it ; just the serial number and Iver Johnson, Fitchburg Mass.. I'm thinking it's a "CADET" model that they made tons of but I'm unsure. So the first step is to identify it... Is it a "Cadet" or some other model? I got some pics of it and told him I'd try tapping into the wealth of collective knowledge here in the "Firearms Research" forum. T.I.A. IMG_5219.JPG IMG_5220.JPG IMG_5224.JPG
