This is a really neat 50 cal modern BP derringer that the Czechs can buy and carry without a license. Put in your pocket for SD as the video suggests or carry otherwise. Is it optimal? Would I want one for grins - sure.

Only two shots but if you do your duty with this - it should stop the evil in the world.

LOL.

A two shot BP derringer is historically sound, but a .50 BP is something else! What next, canister shot?

I don't get the pinky rest "mag" extension. Does it carry extra loads in the grip?

I was wondering the same thing.

Muzzle loaders are considered “antique” firearms in many jurisdictions, no license required to purchase or possess.

Until you load it, then many treat it as a regular firearm. Wonder if that’s the case in the Czech Republic?

I like it; bit of a novelty item, especially for a BP enthusiast. But priced at 600 Euros ($656.28), there's a lot more modern guns I would be interested in before I'd be buying one of those Detonic derringers.

After a few round through a CVA 50 cal BP pistol I swore off hand cannons. Thing nearly broke my fingers with a 100gr equivalent and unforgiving trigger guard.
