WOW!

I just got finished rolling my first ever 9x17s and I feel compelled to mentioned that this Lee AutoDrum is sweeeeet.

With Bullseye in the "bit over 3gr" territory it, apparently, has a drop accuracy in the neighborhood of ±.05gr. And this consistent performance does not require that I tap-tap-tap it or mount a cellphone vibrator to it.

Very nice!

I can see now that I will probably be using my Lee AutoDisks for my rifle cartridge reloading needs, where ±.2 is not a real problem, and keep the AutoDrums for the handgun reloading. :D

I gave up on the Pro Auto Disk and purchased a second Auto Drum. It is pretty amazing how well they work.

I have two additional AutoDrums still in the boxes they arrived in last week. I also have two of the 4-packs of Drums.

I plan on dedicating one drum to each of the "standard" loads that I ID.

-------------------

I stepped out back earlier today and did a quick accuracy test on the .380s that I reloaded.

3.3gr Bullseye under the Federal 95gr HBJSP bullets are plenty accurate out of my PPK, so tomorrow I should be able to crank out a pile of them. I left everything setup and powder in the reservoir, just in case. ;)

I have 8 now, they all work awesome! I'm new to reloading and honestly I don't know how you all got along without such a great tool that allows fast reloading in safe manor.

I thought they were suppose to be easy to adjust and repeatable. Once you determine the setting you could quickly change back and forth from one caliber to the next by making a quick adjustment. If this is true why buy multiple complete set ups for each caliber. A drum for each maybe, but multiple complete set ups. Seems it would get expensive.

I do short runs weekly of 8 different calibers and use a turret press so it only makes sense time wise, to have one on each turret, set up and ready to go.
