I have a dilemma that I would like any ones opinion on. I recently purchased a Leupold VX-3 rifle scope in 3.5 x 10 x 40mm with the new custom dial system (CDS). With this new purchase, I can receive two new custom dials valued at $55 each.

I have this mounted on my new remington sps rifle in 30.06. I have been shooting 165 grain hornady custom SST bullets with good groups. I ordered a cds dial for the 165 grain bullet in 2800 feet per second,,,average elevation 800 feet (central Missouri) and temperature of 50 degrees allegedly custom engraved for my hornandy round. I have yet to receive this dial.

Anyways I have one more free dial left that I must order before Dec 31st. I was wondering should I order one in 180 grain bullet in case I hunt elk in Montana or bigger game than the white tails I hunt here??? I have always used 165 grain 30.06 bullets for the last twenty years. I have never found anything they won't kill. Or should I order another 165 dial with a different elevation and temperature for a different area? I am unsure as to which one to order???? Or should I order it for a different round (bullet manufacturer) like a remington core lok?? in case hornandy quits making this bullet?
