my friends mother has an Anschutz bolt action .22 that she's had since she was young. Through several moves she's lost the bolt and can't seem to find a gunsmith who can tell her where she could find one. So my question is this does anyone know where I could get one for her as a belated x-mas present? She has been like my second mother since I was 11 and she loves this rifle so i'd like to help her out. I believe the last four of the serial # are 7779 if that helps I can get the model also, but if someone could point me in a general direction to start that would be awesome thanks!

After identifying the Model it is?

Go here for your best chance of finding a replacement bolt:

Ten Ring Service, Inc.
2227 Lou Dr. West
Jacksonville, FL 32216-4456
Phone: (904) 724-7419

But it's way too late to start now if you want it by Christmas!!

Good luck finding a complete bolt.
A few years back a friend had me help hin find parts for a Annie, single shot.
We couldnt find the firing pin that was needed so we had to make one.
But if I remember correctly, some of the models had parts that could be replaced with some from corrisponding models in Savage or Springfields.
But if push came to shove, I think a Gunsmith could make you a Bolt, But it would be very expensive.

Hey rc. Is Ten Ring still in business? I thought that Steve died years ago.

He bailed me out many years ago. He took the trigger for my 380 to Germany to get it fixed. The factory no longer had parts or tooling for it. He took it to the retired Anschutz gun plumbers house where he had some old parts and tooling to fix it.

@rcmodel I'm just hoping to find one for her as I said she's done a lot for me throughout the years her and her husband have made me a part of the family. Now that I have a son they even call him their adopted grandson and they babysit him often, so the timing isn't as important as finding one period.

to everyone else thank you for the input I'm waiting for her husband to get me the serial# and model# but it'd difficult cause it's out in plain sight and he needs to do it without her seeing

Ok the serial is 357779 and the model appears to be 62 this is what I was told by her husband please let me know if this helps I'm trying to get pictures, it's a single shot by the way

I believe the rifle that I had to make the firing pin for was the model 62 single shot.
I will call my friend and verify it for you.
and see if he remembers what model of Savage was the same as what you have.
But I am pretty sure we got some parts from Jack First in North Dakota.
He has won some shooting competitions with it since we rebuilt it.

I was able to get hold of my friend that has the Anschutz and he said his is the Model 12 imported by Savage, but he said when he gets off work, he will double check.
