Any bird watchers here?

I looking into the Vortex line of binoculars. Anybody have a pair and, if so, do you like them? Are they bright and clear? They look to be an exact Swarovski copy at half the $1400 price.

I will be using them for hunting, too, so it's gun related.

I don't know about the binocs you mentioned, however, it I was a serous birder, I would look into the stabilized optics. You can use these in higher power, 12 - 15 and get good resolution with little or no shake.
