If you're only in Philly for a short while, I'd suggest seeing the historical stuff @ Old City, rather than what amounts to a rather normal assortment of gunshops & indoor ranges.
If you have your own transportation and don't mind fighting traffic, you could visit Valley Forge (about 25 minutes west of Phil). Or the Constitution Center on the mall.
I'm from the Philly area - its overpriced crap for the tourists; skimpy on the meat and cheese, but big on the bun. I've had far better in NYC. Heck, I think even Arby's beats it. If you want decent food in Philly, skip the "street meat" and try Locanda del Ghiottone on Cherry St.
I've been in Philly for about 1 week, but I only have 1 day left that I'll have some free time. Forget Pat or Geno and head to Tonly Lukes. Even better I found a place called Di Bruno Brothers which is now my favorite place in the world. I've seen city hall, and a few other places but I live in NJ so I'll be back for a better tour with the family.
I was hoping to find a pawn shop or a place to buy reloading supplies. NJ supplies are crazy expensive.
