Any gunshows in Missouri this weekend?

Malada,

I just checked the latest issue of Big Show Journal and don't see anything in MO for over the July 4th week end. They list a show Jul 9-10 in St Roberts, Aug 7-8 in Joplin, Aug 21-22 in Springfield, Aug 26-28 in Macon and Aug 28-29 in Kansas City.

There is the Annual KC National Summer Show Jul 23-25 at the KC Expo Center.

If you are close to Kansas City and attend the RK shows at the Blue Ridge mall then expect them to move. A front page story in today's KS Red Star said that the building would be torn down, or some part of it, and a Wally World would go in there. All of this to be completed by sometime in 2005. If RK does not find a spot that that will leave just the US Weapons shows.

Hope this helps.

Thanks YankeeRebel!

I'm about 3 1/2 hours from KC but I have attended the Blue Ridge Mall show a couple of times and enjoyed it.

Is the KC National Summer show as big and good as the Blue Ridge Mall show?

IIRC the Annual KC National Summer Show is not like a "normal" gun show. There are vendors there and some guns are sold. With you being 3.5 hrs away I would hate to say that it is just like the Blue Ridge show. It is different and if I were going to be in the KC area Jul 23-25, then I would attend. (I will be attending a convention for people that fly the Cessna 150 in Clinton, IA) Hope that helps.

Is Topeka, KS, close to you? US Weapons Collectors will have a show in TOP Sep 11-12. They usually are good shows directed more towards guns than the RK shows. I attended one last week-end in TOP with a friend and we both liked it better than the RK show we attended the week-end before in Overland Park, KS. US Weapons will have shows at the MCI Expo Center Sept 18-19 and Oct 31-31. They will be in Wichita(ICT) Aug 7-8 and Nov 27-28.

That is all of the shows in the KC area that I know about. I am like you, I get with drawl symptoms and just have to find one somewhere.

Thanks again.

I'm from mid Missouri and usually go to the RK shows at Columbia. The KC show is so much bigger that my son and I try to make a day of it, once a year. Had other obligations and didn't make it this spring. Hope they find a place to relocate!
