I live in Atlanta and would like to get some hands on gunsmith tutoring. Just enough to learn how to assemble and customize a 1911 or maybe a long range rifle. a couple hours on the weekends would be perfect. I just want to learn enough to get started. I would be able to pay my own way. I have looked into the 1911 AIG course and will buy it and some books. I am more of a hands on learner.

This is something that I have always wanted to do but the real motivator was this guy up at American Classic Marksman in Dunwoody that’s about my age who is building some beautiful 1911s from parts.
