What do you figure on using it for AF? My wife's favorite all-around big game (elk and mule deer) load is a 160 grain Speer GS over 64.5 grains of RL-22, CCI LRM primer, Federal Brass. It gives her 2920 fps average from her 25" barrel and 7/8" to 1", 3-shot groups at 100 yards.
We also worked up a fairly accurate lower recoil practice load for her 7mm Remington Magnum using 139 grain Hornadys and IMR-4320 powder, but I don't have the specs in front of me. I can look them up if you're interested. It seems like it runs about 2700 fps.

I get good results in a 7mm Rem. Mag. using either 140 or 160 gr. bullets with RL-22. I use large rifle (as opposed to large rifle magnum) primers. I've had excellent results with Hornady, Remington and Barnes bullets in those weights.

) Ruger #1 7mm mag 26" barrel, 9.5 pounds,

Quickload 68 gr. H4831SC 162 gr. HNDY SST 28452 with moly, 3.34" : 3001
fps predicted, measured 3000 fps, .73" 5 shot @50 yards

Quickload 65 gr. H4831SC 175 gr. HNDY Spire 2850 with moly 3.34": 2861
fps predicted, measured 2850 fps, .9" 3 shot group at 100y

If I put a high power scope and a recoil pad on that rifle and shot more carefully, I think those groups would shrink.

140gr Ballistic Tip over 68.6gr of H1000, Remington brass and CCI match primers used to get me 3/4 MOA or less (usually less) consistently out of my Savage 110. I never chrono'd it but it should be about 3000 fps.
