Wow! Inexpensive for a 3 round bolt action in 50 cal.

I sure hope someone knows about these, maybe it'll go on the list of things I'd like to own in some distant land.

Don't know about his bolt gun, but I have one of his first designs that he did for a fifty. It was "rear" loaded somewhat in the fashion of the Maddi and Griz, but it was a whole lot more elegant and way better thought out. You could load the round but not cock the action until you were ready to fire, and the trigger break was truely "breaking glass". If he's building a bolt gun now, I would expect him to pay as good attention to the details on it as he did with mine. (And by the way he lives about four blocks down from my house in the states and is a pretty sharp engineer.) Mike's one of the good guys.

Thanks everyone for the input, hopefully i will be placing an order here in the next month or two, im thinking 32" barrel, not sure how much extra a custom length barrel would be, or if it would be too much trouble and to just opt for the 26" they offer as standard.

Go for the longer barrel if you can swing it. You might check with him and see if he would cut you any slack if you supply the barrel. You can buy excellent .50 M2HB barrels for ~$200-300. Just a thought. I supplied him with one of these for my build (36" if I recall).
