Anybody live in Fremont, CA?

Well, I spent 20 of my 26 years (1982-2002) in Fremont, and even among other cops, they have a bad reputation. The best way to avoid trouble in Fremont is to not be seen as a source of potential revenue, be young, or be operating a vehicle with less than 4 wheels. That's all I'm going to say about that, except I knew a gentleman, fond of motorcycles, who carried a copy of the California Vehicle Code with stickies applied to all the things the cops would pull him over to harass him about.

I want to say SIGS with a large smattering of personal choice. I have seen 6 inch Smiths, Berettas. If you were thinking San Jose, I could tell you chapter and verse. Sig 226, with either a .40 option or a 220 if 9mm isn't your thing. I worked there for a while and made friends and asked questions. Union City, where I live now, is all Berettas. PM if you have more questions, I'd be happy to help in whatever way I can.

Useless freaking hippies keeping everyday Joes from getting to their jobs and blocking the streets

uh, yeah funny how my buddy the LONGSHOREMAN was in favor of these protestors, as were many of them.
me personally, i have been all for kicking saddam's butt, but stuff like this-
"``Our guys were standing in one area waiting to go to work, and then the police started firing on the longshoremen,'' said Henry Graham, the president of ILWU Local 10. ``Some were hit in the chest with rubber bullets, and seven of our guys went to the hospital. I don't want to imply that the police deliberately did this, but it doesn't make sense.''
AND THIS=
"The demonstrations at the port were planned with the quiet support of the ILWU, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union.

Many rank-and-file members of ILWU Local 10 oppose the war with Iraq, and the local has its own Anti-War Action Committee."

show that these protesters , whether we like what they stand for or not, did not desreve to be shot.

People who talk about killing protesters for not thinking like them make me glad this is America and you aren't asking me for my papers.
if you want ot kill everyone you disagree with, perhaps you should find a nice dictatorship to join

Nope, Laguna Niguel about 15 years ago. I used to drive through Fremont on the way to Fontana though.....
