Anyone else not like people handling thier guns?

One of the pleasures of going to the range is the opportunity to see and possibly try out other firearms; it enhances the range experience and exposes you to a wider variety of firearms, in addition to helping you make new friends with similar interests.

If someone at the range offers to let me handle his firearm, I assume nothing, and whip out a clean rag from my range bag with which to handle the gun. I'll ditch the rag when the owner tells me it's not necessary, or if he invites me to shoot the gun.

By the same token, I am usually more than enthusiastic to have fellow range users shoot my guns. My only requirement is that they take off any finger ornaments that might scratch the finish.
